What is a Shared Project?
Think of a shared project as a collaboration space. It’s where you bring together all the chats, documents, and instructions related to one specific piece of work. Instead of scattering files across different folders, everything lives together, instantly accessible to the team.
Individual Members vs. "Everyone"
When you’re setting up a Project, you have two ways to manage who sees what:
Individual Members: Best for focused work. Use this when a project is private to a specific group or cross-functional team. It keeps your workspace clean and ensures that only the people actively working on that task see the details.
"Everyone": Best for wide transparency. Selecting "Everyone in the Cloud" automatically gives all cloud members access to the project. Use this for general resources, policies, or master templates that everyone in the cloud needs access to.
The Golden Rule:
If it’s a specific project, add individuals. If it’s a shared resource, add everyone. This simple habit keeps your Emerge.ai workspace organized and makes sure the right people always have access to the right files!
Bottom Line
Your workspace should be as organized as your team. Use Shared Projects to bring your project together, and choose your permissions wisely to keep collaboration efficient and secure!
